Reiki-Sound Sessions

Reiki-Sound Sessions are first and foremost a Reiki energy experience, assisted by the addition of sound. During these sessions, I’ll be invoking and facilitating the flow of healing Reiki energy, while simultaneously playing instruments (drum, gong, or singing bowl) and doing improvised, non-word-based singing.

Each person experiences Reiki-Sound Sessions in their own way. Participants may experience it energetically, visually, somatically, emotionally, or in other ways. The healing Reiki energy tends to open the door for each person to experience whatever may be helpful to them at that moment in their life. The singing and instruments can have the effect of augmenting the Reiki’s energy work, while also supporting your capacity to enter the experiential Dream Space of the Reiki session.

I am primarily offering these sessions in groups in order to have a group-created ceremony. During the session, participants can sit or lie down on a cushion, mat, blanket, or however they are comfortable. After the session, we will gather in a circle. Each person can share about what they experienced, drawing a tarot card to aid their reflection if they like. Sharing is optional.

Note: Reiki can be done with or without the use of hands. In these sessions, I will be using the hands-free approach, so no touch will be involved.

How to participate

At the moment, I am offering Reiki-Sound Sessions by word of mouth to small groups (3-4 people) as interest is expressed. Any questions are welcome, too. If you are interested, but have concerns about safety, I invite your concerns and would be happy to accommodate in any way I am able to.

Cost: Free. This is meaningful work that I genuinely enjoy doing and want to share.

Certification

I have completed all three levels of C.O.H.R. Reiki training, under the Usui and Johrei traditions, from Reiki Master Teacher Vness E. Santos.
